After the swine flu scare last spring, health experts everywhere are working hard on vaccines and trying to make decisions about what we should do to be ready if the epidemic flares up again. However, just because they’re undecided doesn’t mean that you have to be. Here are some things you can do to boost your immune system and hopefully avoid the worst of the cold season.

Wash your hands. It’s tried, it’s true, and it’s still the most effective way to stay healthy. Wash your hands often and thoroughly, and whenever you can use alcohol-based foams or gels. If you know you won’t be able to wash your hands for awhile, carry hand sanitizer with you.

Stock your medicine cabinet. Make sure that you have the medicine you need to get through cold season, from vitamin C supplements to Theraflu. During the initial swine flu scar, Purell and face masks were often sold out, so consider having a bottle of the first and a box of the second on hand as part of your family’s emergency kit. Even if you’re being too cautious, you’ll feel better than you would if you found out you hadn’t been cautious enough.</li>

Eat healthy foods, especially fruits and vegetables. They are still one of the best ways to fill your body with vitamins and to rid your body of toxins. As cold season approaches, you may want to add a multi-vitamin to your diet in order to ensure that you’re getting everything you need. At the same time, cut down on unhealthy foods. Chocolate actually weakens your immune system (even if it’s good for the soul).

Sleep! When you don’t sleep enough, your immune system is much weaker and can’t fight off whatever germs you come in contact with. Whenever you can, avoid the late nights out. Your immune system and keep up its nightly repair jobs and you will get all of the benefits.

Keep your house clean. Wash your sheets, clean the counters and doorknobs periodically, dust your house regularly. You’ll be carrying around plenty of germs, but you don’t need to give them any extra help.

A little preparation goes a long way toward keeping you healthy as the cold weather sets in – and there’s no time like the present for making preparations.

Height is an important aspect of our life. We always want more and a lack of it can cause many difficulties in anyone’s life. Recent studies show that taller individual’s can look forward to a better career and more satisfying relationships. In the pursuit of growing taller, many of us end up using products which promise us outcomes that are just too good to be true. In the majority of these cases, in our minds we know that we won’t grow taller using the product but being short causes us to have an ever-growing desire to gain height. We end up using the products just as a means of obtaining and maintaining hope for growing taller. Why torture your mind, body and wallet like this? Did you know that the majority of the “grow taller” products out there are made with little expert supervision in uncertified labs? There is an alternative to this, which is less expensive, less painful and much more easier to do.

There are two ways to boost your height. One way is by using technology and the other is by natural means. In both cases, you need discipline and dedication to go through the process. Growing taller takes time and effort and it cannot be achieved overnight. How do we know this? After many years of research, we have come to a conclusion; the best way to grow taller is to help boost height and maintain a good lifestyle. You need both of these in synergetic fashion for the best results.

To maintain a lifestyle which can promote healthy growing, you need to take care of your daily habits. Eat foods rich with calcium and protein. Calcium is the key nutrient responsible for the growth and maintenance of your bones. Protein helps to build and repair your muscles and tissues. You need about 1000mg of calcium daily and around 50-100 grams of protein daily, depending on your sex, weight and activities. Foods that contain adequate amounts of these two nutrients include cheese, yogurt, chicken, tuna, eggs, kidney beans and etc.

Exercising for about 30-45 minutes daily is very beneficial for height improvement. Daily exercise can help your bones and muscles grow. A good exercise routine is also beneficial for other areas of your health. Good exercises for growing taller include yoga, stretching, swimming, basketball, sprinting and etc. Also try to incorporate some weight training into your routine as it can drastically improve your muscles.  Also ty to maintain good sleeping habits  because recent research studies prove that our bodies grow the most when we are sleeping. Sleep for 8 hours each night in a comfortable environment and make sure your neck is properly aligned with the rest of your body.

Follow these simple steps completely and you will be doing your best to grow taller naturally. You will be maintaining a lifestyle which can promote healthy growing but you will be only doing half of what is needed to grow taller. Remember that besides maintaining a good lifestyle, you also need a way to boost your height.
